How do we Live in this New World?

When we are busy, we don't have time to self examine. Now, we have time to look at ourselves.

We don't have to change anything. Just be comfortable with yourself and the situation. This state of comfort, peace and calm is the only goal. A few minutes a day, everyday is a great starting point for a walking meditation practice or a still (sitting) meditation practice. Results come quickly.

The only difference between you and a person who has meditated for forty years is that they can return to a state of calm a little faster than you. Just like shooting a basketball, if you practice everyday, you will get better at it.

Before we examine your chart, it is important for us to know that we can return to the peacefulness. Your mind can be like a tree. Leaves grow, absorb sun and fall off. Birds and squirrels come and go. Eventually the tree will die, but while it is here, it is rooted in the ground and stands upright as many things happen around it.

When the world is falling down.
You make the best of what's still
